World Book Day 2017
On Thursday, 2nd March, we celebrated World Book Day in school. We dressed up as our favourite characters from some of the books that we like the most! This was really interesting, as we had read books from the likes of Paddington Bear and Gangsta Granny to autobiographies by Chris Hadfield and sports personalities. We also tried hard to think about the books that we have read and the authors that we enjoy reading. We were trying hard to earn raffle tickets, which we received for any book related activity that we did from Wednesday to Friday last week. The very cool prize up for grabs was a special illustrated hardback edition of Harry Potter and the Philosophers Stone. We really enjoyed the day and it was great to learn about the books and authors that our friends enjoy too!
