Today we had a lovely visit from Mrs. Gleeson. At last the weather was not too wet or cold for our planned Woodland Walk...and what a lovely day it was...even the sun shone down brightly on us!
Mrs. Gleeson named each tree and told us lots of interesting facts about all of them. She showed us how to identify the trees by their leaves and seeds. She explained why trees are so important and a lovely addition to our school grounds. We gathered a few more leaves and pine cones for our Nature Table.
