Science Week Day 4 and Day 5 Fifth class

We learned how insects can walk on water by doing the pepper and soap experiment . We learned a new word called surface tension

We learned that water can travel through a paper towel without spilling. How amazing 😉 This is known as capillary action. 

We also got to see a chemical reaction. This proved very exciting where we added bread soda to vinegar. As a result carbon dioxide was released causing the balloon 🎈 to fill with the gas.
