5th class enjoyed working on the River Suir water project today. They all got to examine the water quality of the river. They used various nets to extract various living species in the water. They then examined and named the various creatures using a magnifying class and named them. Some groups were lucky enough to find some little fish. They all enjoyed the morning and we learnt that our local river is very clean from the various insects etc that we found in the 💧water.
