On Wednesday, April 5th, boys from 5th and 6th class took part in the U13 Garda District Hurling Blitz in Monroe. It was a great day out for the school team. Tipp FM were broadcasting from the venue and there were some of the Tipperary hurling panel there too! Our school team were absolutely fantastic. They reached the final and played against Gaelscoil Carraig na Siúire. It was a brilliant game but Holy Trinity NS won it out very well! All the boys played really well and Jack Quinlan of 5th was awarded Player of the Tournament. A remarkable achievement. Well done to all our boys - a fantastic day of hurling yet again.
