In March 1st class planted some beetroot and potatoes which we finally got to harvest today. We boiled up our new potatoes and ate them (with plenty of butter!), we also tasted some roasted beetroot and we tried some fresh broad beans straight from the pod. They really enjoyed eating their veggies after all their sowing, planting and weeding in the garden.
