Last month we celebrated the Grandparents and Grandfriends in our lives. We welcomed lots of Grandparents into our classroom where we sang 'You are my sunshine' for them. We were delighted so many joined in with us and knew this song when they were little girls and boys. We made a Toy Museum in our room which brought back memories to many. The children loved seeing toys their parents played with when they were young. Aoife Spillane brought in a farm set that her Grandad made for her Mammy when she was a little girl and that has now been passed onto Aoife and it's still good as new! Thanks to everyone who sent in fabulous toys and books. We hope all of you enjoyed the day as much as us!
