We celebrated Friendship Week from February 13th-February 17th. Children thought about what makes a good friend and how they can be a good friend. We cut the ribbon on our 'Friendship Bench' or 'Buddy Bench' as it's sometimes called. The children know how to use the bench when they're in the playground. The children did lots of things in class for friendship week. Everybody decorated a piece of card with their ideas and pictures based on friendship and we linked these together to make a School Friendship Chain! 5th class read some of their Friendship poems and we sang, 'You Can Count on Me' to remind ourselves to be there for others when they need us!
