Biodiversity
21st Mar 2022
We have been doing lots of work in school recently on biodiversity as we’re working towards our next Green Flag for the school. On Wednesday the 9th of March, Graham Fitzpatrick who’s an educational officer for biodiversity visited 6th Class. Graham focused his talk on pollinators explaining what jobs they do and why they are so important. We also made seed bombs using clay and seeds which we are hoping to cast into our wildflower meadow. We hope that the wildflower meadow will provide a home for wildflowers and pollinators alike. We also focused our artwork that week on the honeybee as it is one of the main pollinators in Ireland. We hope you enjoy these pictures!
